Aw, Gerald Dean can be so mean sometimes. In honor of Blabbs’ shattered feelings, turn down your speakers if you’re at work then enjoy this song by the group, War: click here to play.

Some of my “favoristical and phun-dang-nominal” memories as a kid was when the gang would try to invent something new! Oh man that was so much fun! My friend actually made a working spidey web-shooter! Out of a high powered suction cup pistol!
And talk about fabricating weapons…we made non-lethal zip guns one time! Why? Because something deep in every little male told us we are dangerous and we needed to be reckoned with! It made us feel brave. We could defend ourselves if we had to!
Before you start telling and yelling at me that “young boys are way too violent and should be enroll us in sensitivity classes as soon as possible.” My friends and I grew up just fine and some became the bravest men I know like firemen, policemen and soldiers in the Armed forces. Those seeds of danger and mayhem grew into courage and bravery!
And that my friends can never be invented!

Is healthy junk-food an oxymoron? Could be? When I’m hungry I just look for a source. Growing up I was always hungry, back then a full belly was more my concern then a healthy meal. As an adult I’m still always hungry (LOL) but I know the result of over eating on junk-food without thinking, the result…I see a barely recognizable image of me in my mirror! With the mirror saying “Body by cheeseburgers!”
Being a co-creator of two web comics I get to see many on-line comics, some are very, very good and some are…like the junk-food analogy above they should have a side effects warning like the commercials that advertise the prescriptions meds on TV! The people taking the meds on TV seem so happy, but then the soothing voice starts rattling off the possible side affects that sound more scary the reason for taking the meds lol!
I’m proud to say our web comic is funny without any weird side affects! It’s based on many of our own real life childhood stories. Like adventure, (real adventures not gaming adventure), sleighing down forbidden hills, fighting bullies, trying to make your own money, building treehouses and making inventions nobody would buy. It’s about friendship and the crazy things you did with your friends as kids that you’ll remember the rest of your life.
If today’s strip seems a little hard to understand…we always follow a short lived storyline so you may have to back up a few ”toons” to get the full affect of Gerald’s “warpnoscity” of the day.
So pull out your laptop and enjoy some “Small Fries”…you look so skinny!

It seemed unfair to introduce “Dirtbomb” as a new character, have him immediately fail and leave it like that. I felt that he needed redemption. Plus, to quote Mel, “The Real Dirtbomb Velazquez wouldn’t miss!” Also, the “zip” throwing sound in the third panel is an homage to one of the greatest comic strips ever, Krazy Kat.
We’ve managed to crawl back from the abyss of super low readership caused by my lack of updates there for a while. Thanks to everyone that stuck with us, also welcome to any new readers.
On an interesting note, the epilogue strips were kind of a last minute thing. I was about to leave on a business trip and didn’t have a new storyline written. So to update quickly, I came up with three strips that would show what happened after Headmo got hauled back to the circus. I think they turned out pretty well and my do this type of thing again. -GH
P.S. Knuckles the Clown is my new favorite character.
